First, Lebron hasn't been Lebron so far. According to ESPN, Lebron has shot 44% in the post so far this year. He hasn't done that poorly in a four game stretch since his original Cavs days. The dude looks twenty pounds lighter and more importantly plays twenty pounds lighter. He appears to be having a hard time finishing through contact this year, and for a player who shot 59%! from the field last year, that is rather concerning.
Second, this team needs time to gel. A new coach, and two new superstars on a team that was previously Kyrie Irving and co. That is going to take some time to figure out. I expect a blow out in the Pepsi Center tonight during which all three of the big three drop over 20 points and two thirds have double doubles. This team has too much talent to keep losing the way they are.
In other news, Andy Dalton had a ridiculously bad day yesterday. Here are some fun facts I found about how poorly he did yesterday.
- Worst passer rating in Bengals history while throwing over 30 attempts.
- Worst Passer rating by anyone since 1983
- If Dalton had spiked the ball every passing attempt his passer rating would be 37 points higher then it was on Thursday.
Thanks to reddit user immortal_joe for the facts!
