The Day After

Tom Brady is arguable the best to play the quarterback position but if you watched last night's game, it would be hard to believe. At the beginning of the season when Brady was asked when he will retire he responded; "I'll retire when I suck." The amount of messages I received last night telling me to enjoy Brady's last year got me thinking; Tom Brady will not retire at the end of the year. I believe Ray Lewis and Derek Jeter are to thank for that. Big name players will give you warning when they retire and that is why I believe the 2016 season will be Brady's last. I don't believe what happened last night was all Brady's fault. He has no offensive line and is still throwing to mediocre receivers. I'm not trying to make up excuses for Brady's poor play but everyone needs help, including Tom Brady. I believe the Patriots organization screwed up badly. They saw Brady's talent and took advantage of it. If you look at the year Brady had a great receiver, the Patriots were one help catch away from going 19-0. The Patriots saw how Brady could manage to win without paying for the big name receivers and for that they only have 3 rings.

What do the Patriots do from here? They do what they always do, bounce back. I have complete faith in Bill Belichick and Tom Brady because they are a scary duo that can not be predicted.

It's hard to see a positive coming out of last nights game but there were a few:

1. Rob Gronkowski got another week under his recovery process.
2. Jimmy Garoppolo looks good for the future.
3. The Patriots know what to fix now rather than mid-December 

It is going to be tough to watch the Patriots play against an undefeated Bengals team fresh off a bye week but all that will mater is if they will be playing football in January.
